ABOUT ME
Welcome! I'm Cat Klein - a passionate storyteller and social media professional. I currently serve as a social media intern with the Bloomington Bison Hockey Club of the ECHL. In my role I have served as Interim Director of Social Media where I managed every Bison social media account, live updated games, shot and editing photos and videos and posted to socials using strategy and intention.

As a retired college athlete set to graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor's in Sports Communication, working in sports is my career goal. I have a permanent love for sports and have always been passionate about photography, editing, writing and storytelling through social media. I am currently shaping my career around these passions!

Though I gained much of my experience from my internships in professional hockey, my passion for social media stems back 10 years. While I was a tween, I was a mega-Swiftie and dedicated much of my free time to running a fan account on Instagram. In the two years I ran this account I went from 0-60,000 followers. Although I retired the account many years ago, I still have a passion for growing social media channels and engaging with the community.

I have always thrived in fast-paced environments and very much love being part of a team. I am a perfectionist in my work, but I know when to let go of things out of my control. I bring an uplifting energy everywhere I go and love talking to people about anything and everything!

I grew up in a small town in Illinois and am very eager to learn what else the world has to offer. I am open to positions everywhere and am very excited to see what my future holds!
